FULL-TIME PSYCHOTHERAPIST AT NEW INSIGHTS COUNSELING
New Insights Counseling is growing! We are now interviewing for full-time therapists to join our clinic in Wausau!
Preferred Education and Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
LPC or LCSW preferred
Exhibit expertise in evidence-based therapeutic approaches and stay updated with the latest advancements in the field
Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
Additional training and/or certification in areas of specialization (EMDR, IFS, DBT, Couples Therapy, etc.) or intent to pursue additional training in specific areas is a plus
Current, unencumbered, active state licensure to practice in Wisconsin, at hire and for the entire duration of employment
Ability to function independently and follow through on tasks agreed to in a timely manner
Flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with clients, coworkers and collaborating agencies
Strong boundaries to maintain confidentiality/ethical standards and behave in a professionally appropriate manner in and out of sessions
A belief in a client's ability to change, grow, succeed and a non-judgmental approach
Must have own computer with a stable internet connection to complete documentation and telehealth visits
A suitable home office environment to protect patient confidentiality (if conducting telehealth sessions from home)
Ability to pass a criminal background check as well as professional reference checks
Key Responsibilities:
Complete intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans alongside clients
Conduct individual, family, and/or couples counseling sessions (in alignment with clinician strengths and clients’ needs)
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with agency policies
Option to develop and lead/co-lead psychotherapy or skills groups if desired
Participate in weekly clinical supervision sessions
